Got a good job out of college, and it was time to move up the ride ladder. I bought my first brand-new car in August 1991. It cost about $13,000. I consciously bought American, and Saturn was supposed to be GM's import killer. This car was solid and sporty. Not QUITE up to Japanese car standards, it had a couple annoying rattles. Overall, I LOVED this car. Owned it for about 9 years.

We were young. We went downtown. We partied. Buddy got sick in my NEW car!
Sooo... I was a light drinker, so I was often the designated drive. One weekend night, me and two of my buddies head downtown to live it up. One of the buddies was known to, uh, "overindulge", but we would occasionally all go out. Not surprisingly, the overindulging buddy overindulged... It was hard to get him to leave but we did (it was probably pretty late...) So, we finally get him to the car... where he promptly lets loose in my back seat! My brand new car! Ugh. Such is the life of the young.
